How was Pride? Did the storm interfere with any of the events?

The Lynchburg Diversity center

next weekend is going to be Awesome, Fri I will be helping the Lynchburg Diversity center at a booth at the Get Downtown Lynchburg, to help let people know that Lynchburg has a diversity center.
Then Sat we are Going to Roanoke pride to be in the Parade, since people come from all over to Roanoke pride, it will be another chance for us to get the word out that lynchburg has a diversity center.
We are doing a lot of fund raisers, so we can get our own building, right now we meet at the UU church down town the first Tue of every month, to discuss more fund raisers, and make plans for what we are going to do once we get a building. and the 3rd sun of each month we have a Restaurant called The Dish, that donates its space for a LGBT bar, it is $5.00 at the door and the funds go to getting a building.
I am really excited to be part of getting this up and running, so we have a place to go and have fun with others in our community. There is not much here for us in Lynchburg, but it is changing slowly.
